Tots to Teens Expo 2015 – FREE Family Fun 4/25 #T2TExpo2015

I am super excited that this Saturday, I will be taking my kids to the DC Convention Center and spending the day at the 3rd annual Tots to Teens Expo. This expo was founded by the amazing Taylor Thomas, award-winning news journalist and news reporter at WHUR (Steve Harvey Morning Show), and brings thousands of area families together for fun games, learning and activities. The best part? It’s all FREE!

But before I share more about what you’ll find this year, here’s a brief recap of what took place in 2014:

Ok so here are the details that you need to know:

WHAT: Tots to Teens Expo 2015 (follow on Twitter and Facebook for updates)

WHEN: Saturday April 25, 2015

TIME: 10am to 6pm

WHERE: Walter E. Washington Convention Center

801 Mt Vernon Pl NW, Washington, DC 20001

And to top it off, this year, they will have Cat in the Hat  (from 10:15-2pm) and Daniel the Tiger (from 1:30-5:30pm) right there at the Expo for your tots to hang out with.I attended this expo two years ago and didn’t get to take my kids due to other engagements. I went to scope things out and do some live social media sharing on behalf of Taylor Thomas and the Expo. I felt like a kid again myself and there was soooo much to do, I wanted to do it all. From cooking demos, to moonbounces, bumper cars and game trucks, they have it all.

In addition, here are some more reasons to bring your children out this Saturday:

  • Bumper cars
  • Basketball
  • Face painting
  • Zumba for kids!
  • CPR training & certification
  • Kids’ spa retreat
  • Dental exams
  • Eye exams
  • Kids’ onsite library corner

Did I mention all of the above and more are absolutely FREE? I know I can’t wait to take my kiddos! So if you’re there be sure to look for me, I’d love to say hello!

The Tots-to-Teens Expo 2015 will be educational, entertaining and fun for the entire family. There will also be the 2015 Tots-to-Teens Science Fair. The winner receives tickets from Southwest Airlines — for the entire immediate family — to any of the 78 domestic airports where Southwest flies. For details and registration information, check out the Science Fair page.

Thanks for sharing this. Makes me wish I was in that area. You have inspired me to check out what’s going on down here in palm beach county to see what I can bring my kiddies to. I hear there’s something called ‘A Day for Kids’ that sounds promising….

    Christine, this is great stuff!

Wish I knew about this when we lived in Baltimore, I wonder if there is something like this in Ohio, I have 4 little ones that would love it.

Hey Nancy! Who knows, maybe one day this will become a traveling Expo. But definitely find out if there’s something like this nearby in OH. And I didn’t realize you used to live in the area 🙂
