Power of intention
I am sitting here on my deck listening to the birds chirping, still in awe of the power of intention working in my life. This is because I had the awesome opportunity to be interviewed on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. They asked what could have been done to save the recent celebrity marriages that are now ending in divorce. I told them communication is the number one issue in most marriages. It humbled me to be called the Celebrity Wife Coach by a veteran radio personality.
My vision board
I am sharing this with you because I want to stress the importance of being intentional in your life. While creating my vision board last year, I prayed and declared things over my life that I wanted to achieve in 2016. I put purpose-filled items on my board. I read my board out loud everyday and prayed for guidance regarding the items on it.

Recently, I looked at the picture of Tom Joyner on my vision board. For a few minutes I stared at it, wondered why I even put him on there and then for a brief moment, considered taking his picture off of it.
After that moment passed, I told God, “Look, I don’t know how I will connect with Tom Joyner or if he would even be interested in my book. I believe you had me put him on my board for a reason.”
I continued to look at the picture of my vision board on my phone daily, still wondering why in the world I had Tom Joyner’s picture on it.

Then it happened. I received an email from the Tom Joyner Morning Show two weeks later. They asked me to give my relationship expertise on the show the very next morning. I was in shock and was shaking for about a few hours. Needless to say, I am so glad I didn’t allow doubt to convince me take his picture off my vision board.
Instead I chose to believe. I made a choice not to quit. I chose to believe God’s promises to me and to put in the hard work it takes to be successful.
The beautiful thing about this story is that I received another email from them. They wanted to know if I would be interested in being a guest again as the Celebrity Wife Coach.
WOW! The power of intention is beyond explanation. It works through prayer and hard work. That’s how my God works.
