Y’all know you’ll find several posts on here about self-love (you can check one out here, here and here) because it’s near and dear to my heart. It took a long time for me to truly understand what this concept meant, and then to start incorporating specific habits into my routine to enhance my own self-love. The FLY Mom Challenge I created is all about pouring love back into ourselves as mothers. We need to get into the habit of doing it before we actually are forced to do it, which is what I also teach in my workshops.
I had a really tough time getting rid of my baby weight the third time around and it definitely affected the overall love I had for myself. But it wasn’t until I started working on the inside (pouring love back into myself) that I started to experience change on the outside and drop the weight. I’ve lost over thirty pounds in the last couple of years and am working on getting into better shape than I’ve ever been in.
