Last week, we talked about the subject of Regifting, and the week before, we debated on whether it was better to get a real tree or a fake one. If you’re anything like me, then you’ve probably still got a good amount of Christmas shopping to do. Well, as you already know from my post about Black Friday, I really dislike shopping in crowds, and I much prefer to do my shopping online especially around this time of year. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to do too much online shopping this year, so I will still need to find time before the week is out to battle the crowds and complete my Christmas shopping list. Pray for me y’all.
To think, there are actually people who enjoy and look forward to this madness! There are people who like the long lines, the crowded parking lot & stores crowded with other stressed-out, last-minute shoppers. I don’t know if I could ever get used to that, so I thank God for the gift of technology. Online shopping has revolutionized the way a lot of us do business. From birthday to holiday to get-well gifts and just-for-me gifts, there’s hardly anything that you can’t find while shopping online. Well…there may be one thing that might be a bit difficult to purchase online…unless you’re Kevin Hart of course…
But wait…of all things, he bought an elephant? How do you even spell that name Kevin Hart? And did he really say he purchased some knee highs for men because his knees get cold? This.dude.needs.help! LOL!!! 🙂 For what it’s worth, I actually went ahead and googled (is that a word yet?) “How to buy an elephant“, and this has to be my favorite thread that I’ve found so far: How to buy and import a domesticated elephant (just in case anyone wants to purchase one as a pet).
See? There are just some things that you can purchase online that you can never find at your local neighborhood mall. Final score: Online shopping = 2; In-store shopping = 1 😉
So what’s your preferred method of shopping? What’s the most random, craziest thing you’ve ever searched for or bought online?
