There are an infinite amount of blogs, articles, podcasts, and videos about success, and how one can achieve it. Success is relative. What looks like success to me, may not be the same for you and vice versa. But there is one thing that all successful people share, and that is focus. We can’t be successful if we’re trying to be Jack of all trades, and constantly chasing after the next big thing (that bright, shiny object) or worrying about all of the many things that aren’t going according to “plan”.
One thing is for sure: Focus leads to success. And where we choose to focus our energies can either increase or decrease our level of success. If you can learn to focus (which sometimes means turning down opportunities that don’t align with what you need right now), then reaching your ultimate level of success will be inevitable.
When you constantly focus on what could go wrong, that is the story that you write for yourself. As Oprah said, we are co-creators of our own lives. Focus intentionally on the positive and see what shifts you can create in your life.
Start your week off right with focus! Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and focus on what could go right.
