Stress-Free Family Reunions With Hilton Hotels

Disclosure: As a Blogger Ambassador for Hilton Hotels®, I received a complimentary hotel stay at Homewood Suites Hotels. As always, all opinions are my own.

Summertime brings about a lot of different traditions, and one of them is the family reunion. My husband and I recently decided that we wanted to take on planning the first official family reunion for our families. Being that we are both first generation American, it’s a tradition we’re familiar with only from watching close friends participate in them. It’s difficult enough to get our family of five organized for vacation, but add in the rest of the family and there’s bound to be a bit of chaos and stress involved on many levels.

And everyone knows that when you’re traveling with kids, the meals add up really quickly! So being able to find a hotel location that allows not only a free meal, but also the option for a full kitchen, so we can make our own food, is golden! This is why I’m super excited that my family and I are heading to the Homewood Suites Hotel in Hershey, Pennsylvania this week! It’s a much needed getaway and the icing on the cake is that we will have everything we need right in our hotel suite. Not to mention, the hotel is conveniently located within minutes of Hershey Park, and none of us have ever been there. The kids are going to flip OUT!

African-American families can count on Embassy Suites Hotels and Homewood Suites by Hilton to help simplify the planning process, and provide spacious two-room suites, free hot breakfast, complimentary evening reception, full kitchens and other amenities that are sure to delight families. I don’t know about you, but to me, this sounds like a win-win-win for all! I cannot WAIT to see the look on the kids’ faces when we get to the hotel. When we traveled earlier this year to NYC, we spent a lot of money on breakfast, lunch and dinner. So being able to have a nice hot breakfast included in our stay sounds almost too good to be true. But I’m glad to say it’s not.

I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for a few years now, and I’ve never been disappointed in my stay. This will be our first time staying at a Homewood Suites hotel and I am definitely looking forward to it. Who knows, this just might be the location for stress-free family reunions with Hilton Hotels®. Stay tuned for my review. I haven’t been to a family reunion, but I would love to have one. We were supposed to, but it ended up not working out. I love Hilton hotels. Looks like you all had an amazing time.

I have never been to a family reunion. You make it sound simple to plan. Regarding Embassy suites, I like that they also have a complementary evening happy hour that the adults can enjoy.

We planned our first Family Reunion a few years back. We found a rather central location for everyone. For us that was Williamsburg, VA. The hotel was affordable and had an indoor and outdoor pool. It also had free breakfast which was a hit. We were close to the amusement park and shopping so it was a win win for us all.

We are long overdue for another.

My family used to try to have a big one every year on the fourth of July. But since every is getting older, it’s getting harder and harder for everyone to attend.
