Six Flags America: NEW Splash Water Falls & Crab Feast Fun

This past Friday, my family got to spend the day at Six Flags America for their annual VIP/Media Crab Feast and to check out their new Splash Water Falls water park. We love Six Flags because it is close to home in MD and there is so much to do! I recently shared my experience in checking out their new Superman Virtual Reality Coaster. So we were excited to get back there, this time, to enjoy the new Splash Water Falls.

Below is a photo we snapped during this same event from last year.

My favorite part was running into Tweety Bird on the way out #winning #SixFlags #familyfun #latergram

Here is how it all went down…

Six Flags Splash Waterfalls - MomsNCharge_25 We got the party started at the VIP crab feast. They not only treat us really well when we attend Six Flags events, but they also feed us really well. We got to stuff our faces with yummy crab, fried chicken, corn on the cob, watermelon, and a couple other things. The kids were happy so mommy was happy too. Six Flags Splash Waterfalls - MomsNCharge_24 By the time we finished eating and hanging out with fellow bloggers MimiCuteLips & Passenger 156, it was close to 2pm. We immediately headed over to the waterpark. It was a perfect day for that because it was a scorcher outside.

Time to splash around

If you plan on visiting, try to get there a little earlier in the day as seating is somewhat limited inside the water park. Fortunately, we were able to snag a few seats together. So once we got situated, it was time to get wet!

The kids ready to jump out of the hot sun and into the water.

The kiddos getting ready to head into the waterpark. The water park was not super huge, but it was big enough for my little ones and gave them plenty to do. There were several water slides and sprinklers throughout. I appreciated the fact that they had some “baby” slides because my youngest wanted nothing to do with the bigger ones. She stayed one one slide for the entire time we were in the splash park. The ginormous bucket of water that fell every few minutes was insane. Ladies, hold on to your tops, and fellas hold on to your trunks LOL

The water was freezing. Shout out to Mimicutelips for catching this chilly moment 🙂

I snapped as much as I could without getting my phone wet. So below is my snap story. Be sure to follow me on snapchat (christinestvil) for more adventures.

As you can see, we had a spectacular time. And we will definitely be back for a visit before the summer is out.

Stay tuned because Six Flags’ Fright Fest will be back and it’s held September 24th – October 31st. And for the first time ever (which I SUPER excited about), Six Flags America will have a dazzling Winter Spectacular! They’ll have over a million glittering lights, certain thrill rides and live entertainment along with seasonal treats. The dates for this will run from November 19th – January 2nd.

Have you been to Six Flags? What is your favorite thing to do at an amusement park?

Disclosure: My family and I were provided free tickets to the VIP media event and to check out the new Splashwater Falls water park at Six Flags. As always, all opinions are my own.

I have not been to Six Flags in years, probably since I was your children’s age! It was not as (little) kid friendly as it is now but it has always been great family fun. My siblings and I rose any and all roller coasters!
