Real Moms, Real Talk: Janeane Davis, President/CEO – James, Davis & Associates

C: Do you have any upcoming projects that you’re working on & can share with us?

JANEANE: I have a book that I’m working on about writing business plans and how to implement them. I’m going to be self-publishing that. The deadline for this book will actually be within the next two to three weeks. I’m also working on a book that is combining the days of Kwanzaa with everyday living (how the seven days of Kwanzaa fit in with the seven days of the week). It will uncover how all of these principles can be applied to Christian women so you can have a better life. I’m looking for this book to come out sometime in January, right after the season when it’s still fresh on everyone’s mind, so they can put these principles into place for the year.

Well there you have it friends, Janeane is the real deal and I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to sit down and chat with her. If you have questions or comments for our featured Mom ‘N Charge, feel free to post them her, and then be sure to connect with her on Facebook and Twitter.

Awesome interview. I can only imagine what that conversation was like LOL. I love that all of your kids have blogs. I’d love more info about how the five year olds do with that. I have a five year old and the child never. stops. talking. If I could get him to put some of those words somewhere else I can only imagine how much quieter my nights might be *dare to dream* LOL

LOL. I really liked the idea of the kids…especially the 5-year-olds…having a blog. I will definitely start one for my son. I think it would be a fun thing for us to do together. 🙂

“And the reality is that if I want to work uninterrupted, I have to wait for bedtime. I try to work my life around theirs instead of the reverse, otherwise we’ll all be miserable.” This is so powerful! This is my truth also. Our house is so full of life that I have to wait until every eye is closed before I can even focus.

I hear you Uneeka! I’ve had to learn this lesson a few times. But it makes for a more peaceful mommy if I just focus all of my attention on the babies until they don’t need me to focus on them anymore 🙂
