{GIVEAWAY} I’m Speaking at the Act Like a Success Conference!

Words can’t even begin to describe the excitement I have to be a featured breakout session speaker at Steve Harvey’s Act Like a Success Conference! Yes, this same person who you couldn’t pay to stand up in front of a crowd and speak just a couple years ago is now EXCITED to speak to a room full of people! And the fact that this is Steve Harvey’s Conference brings the excitement to a whole new level!

For the last couple of years, I’ve had the opportunity to speak at the Get RADICAL Women’s Conference founded by Doreen Rainey. This conference literally changed my life! Moms ‘N Charge™ was birthed as a result of attending this conference in 2012. I had just started blogging (under my original name, Speak on Faith), but was still in a place of trying to find myself and discover my purpose. I immediately signed up to have Doreen as my coach because I was truly inspired with her gift. This conference became my annual girl’s getaway trip because it was a place that fed my soul and increased my possibilities. So when Doreen announced that last year would be her LAST conference, you can imagine how sad I was to hear that.

Fast forward less than a year and she announced that she was taking on a new role as Vice President, Operations, Transformation & Development Division, Steve Harvey World Group. Talk about walking in your purpose! So while this is not the Get RADICAL Women’s Conference, I know for a fact that I will get everything I need, and that the Act Like a Success Conference will exceed my expectations.

This year I’ll be taking what I teach in the Steve Harvey RADICAL Success Institute to a bigger level. I’ll be talking about

I want to attend the Act Like a Success Conference to learn from a group of individuals that I not only admire but that I also respect. I grew up in a very negative environment (public housing projects) where disbelief and “dream killers” were rampant. Even my own parents (God bless them) had the mentality that their lives were less meaningful because we were surrounded by poverty. Through hard work and faith I broke the cycle of poverty and now I would like to network with and learn from the amazing speakers and individuals at the conference.

      February 2, 2015 at 4:05 PM

Hi Renee, thanks so much for stopping by. Thank God for allowing you to see that the cycle needed to break, and for taking it upon your self to break it. The content of course will be amazing, but connecting with the other attendees live can definitely be transformational! Good luck to you!

Hello Christine! It's so ironic that this is the same weekend of the Steve Harvey Dream Academy that my daughter applied for but did not get into. However she was blessed with being invited to John's Hopkins University Medical forum. She plans to attend medical school and I plan to ensure with every part if my being that she gets there. I know that 2015 is a game changer year for me and that I have been under the raider of living my purpose full out. This will not only impact my life but it will give this now single mom of three the blueprint to eradicate the dependency of someone else writing my check. This will truly be a blessing to my family.

Do you know that feeling you get when you begin to gain awareness of your life and vision and wonder "where have I been and why didn't I pursue these dreams sooner!?". That being said, I believe wholeheartedly that God didn't put this dream on my heart without the intention of giving me the tools needed to execute it. I'm thanking God already for this conference and would be grateful for this blessing. 🙂
